The Hampton Roads Community Foundation invites you and a guest to an Understanding Hampton Roads breakfast program focused on opportunities to re-engage our region's disconnected youth.

Speaker: Kristen Lewis, director of Measure of America and co-author of the 2018 report More Than a Million Reasons for Hope: Youth Disconnection in America Today.

Understanding Hampton Roads is the Hampton Roads Community Foundation's effort to advance civic engagement in southeastern Viginia. It includes forums on key topics to help biuld understanding and inspire action that brings people together to help improve life in our region.

Our partner for this inaugural forum is Together We Can Foundation - Smart Transitions, an organization that helps Hampton Roads youth who are in foster care, homeless, economically disadvantaged or emotionally challenged successfully transition to independent adult life and careers.
